Keeping your profiles up-to-date with new and important authors
1 December 2011
Read it! Love it? Add it to your Profile is a special service that alerts libraries to up-and coming, well-known and and award-winning authors who may not be on their profiled orders list. James Bennett works with prominent publishers like Pan Macmillan Australia to highlight authors that should be automatically profiled. Libraries can sign up for this service by updating their e-newsletter subscription service or contacting their account manager.
Authors who were highlighted on the service in 2011 year include:
Christine Stinson (It Takes a Village)
Andrew Nicoll (The Love and Death of Caterina)
Peter James (Dead Man's Grip)
Philip Kerr (Field Grey)
Vanessa Diffenbaugh (The Language of Flowers)
Roslund and Hellström (Cell 8)
Dianne Blacklock (The Secret Ingredient)
Tara Moss (The Spider Goddess)
And a special feature on:
Alex Miller (Autumn Laing)
Libraries can sign up to the monthly e-newsletter service here. Some customers also receive additional promotional materials, reading copies, finished books, publicity updates and more to encourage automatic profiling of the authors on the Read it! Love it? Add it to your Profile service. Publishers interested in getting involved should contact our Publisher Relations & Marketing Communications Manager, Rachael McDiarmid.
We will be developing the program in 2012 and will be looking out for new and up-coming Australian authors in particular. You can follow this year's authors and newsletters here.
Make sure your Adult Fiction Profile is kept up-to-date with important authors with your ANZ library vendor of choice - James Bennett.
