James Bennett has been supplying the library market since 1964. We are a progressive company, welcoming new technologies that benefit the developing needs of our customers.

James Bennett supplies a wide range of commercial, non-commercial, government and specialist publications from Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the South Pacific, Europe, the UK and the US. It is our policy to source titles from publishers and distributors (Australian and overseas) that offer the best service including speed of supply, pricing, customer service and local Australian knowledge. Where local stock or competitive supply of stock is not available, we will source from overseas and offer consolidated airfreight shipments from the UK, NZ and US on a weekly basis.

In addition to this, we are also the agents for a number of prestigious university presses, as well as library science, reference and art publishers. The following are lists of publishers that regularly supply James Bennett:

James Bennett has embraced the ISO 9000 principles and we have implemented effective quality management system controls for over a decade. We have been certified as meeting the requirements of ISO 9001 by SGS Systems & Services Certification Pty Ltd since February 1997.
